Through oral, vaginal and anal sex from someone already infected.

How will I know I have it?

You may not have any symptoms. Females are more likely not to have symptoms. Women may have a strong smelling vaginal discharge, which is yellow/green in colour, bad stomach cramps and it hurts to urinate (wee). Men may also have a yellow/green discharge coming out of their penis and strong pains when they urinate (wee).

How can I get rid of it?

Taking antibiotics, which can be given as tablets, injection or syrup.

What will happen if I don’t get it treated?

You may become infertile which means unable to have children.
